California Waste Solutions is the newest contractor for the City of Oakland’s waste service. A contract won over the former supplier, Waste Management. After city council vote to approve CWS as the garbage hauler, Waste Management created a campaign in an attempt to overturn the vote.
Problem: The public needs to know the truth about the newly approved service and dispel claims made by WM.
Solution: Our team was tasked with creating a public visual campaign, “Trash Truth”, to promote credible information about CWS and their emphasis on being a locally preferred company approved by city officials.
