TY4FWM: The Documentary
Co-Producer, Director of Photography
Oakland has birthed many an artist, the diversity of its streets forging a variety of talented individuals who have captivated a global audience. The Town’s latest star? ALLBLACK, a charismatic Murder Dubs native, known for his ability to spin vivid lyricism over energetic, trunk-rattling production. Over the past few years, he’s established himself as a staple in the local and national music scenes, his infectious personality attracting fans and collaborators alike. Now, with his debut album ringing through the city, ABOVE ALL takes a look behind the septum ring, at the man known as ALLBLACK, and the community that raised him. Listen to the album “TY4FWM” out now!
Tales of the Town (Short Film)
Director of Photography
Tales of The Town is a multimedia project that uses a podcast, album, short film, art exhibit, and a book to detail nearly 100 years of Oakland’s Black History. The project is a tribute to the Black community of Oakland and a reminder of what we can do against all odds. Amidst the Black population’s current fight against gentrification, police violence, environmental racism, and public health disparities, Tales of The Town: The Film serves as a reminder to Oakland’s Black community of our rich history of struggle and determination against the many manifestations of racist-capitalist oppression and exploitation. Through the stories of people who have called this place “home” since the 1930’s, the film strives to not only preserve radical history, but to use it as a guide to create positive action in the present day!
Temescal Roots Project
Producer, Director of Photography
The Temescal Roots Project will honor the rich history of the Black Panther Party’s beginning in/around Temescal through a public art installation in the heart of the district in Oakland, California. This will be the first 3D public art piece to honor the legacy not of a single member, but rather the entire Black Panther Party as a whole.
I was hired by the Made in Color team to produce, shoot and deliver a series of videos in including content for social, documentation of a project in-progress and interviews.
Connecting the world through visual storytelling
With over ten years dedicated to visual storytelling, my work focuses on driving social change and fostering connection. I collaborate with NGOs, brands, and social advocates to create compelling stories that inform and inspire, whether through photography, film, or multimedia narratives. From Hong Kong to East Africa and across the U.S., I capture moments that amplify voices, bridge communities, and encourage empathy. My goal is to create visuals that resonate deeply, sparking conversations and inspiring meaningful impact across diverse audiences.
